5 sas 6gb/s (serial-attached-scsi) 10k rpm drives / 2.5-inch small form factor (sff) drives. However, they require a 3.5-inch drive bay because they are mounted in the required heatsinks which turns them into a 3.5-inch form factor drive. Branded oem version of the seagate model st9600205ss. The actual amount of run-time on these drives can be verified using the seagate seatools diagnostic.
These drives are mounted in excellent heatsinks which fit a standard 3.5-inch drive location. These disks can get extremely hot and require the proper heatsink and ventilation. These are sas drives (not parallel-scsi, sata or ide). If you do not know what a sas (serial-attached-scsi) drive is then you do not want these :- this model drive requires a sas controller for operation. These drives were immediate new pulls from new systems converted to a different storage configuration.
Rives have been sitting idle and unused in a cabinet (safely packaged) for approximately 3 months. After being pulled from the original system the drives were kept on-hand in case they were needed elsewhere, not needed ….. Drive model number is st9600205ss savvio 10k. As expected, the drives are in 100% perfect new operating condition.
The drives were tested for quality / condition of the drive sectors and media surface. Naturally, as expected, all test results showed the drives to be in perfect 100% healthy new operating condition.
